Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and basic authentication identifiers through Google or Apple Sign-In. We do not store your third-party passwords.
Practice Audio and Recordings
If you use voice features, we record and store your voice audio so we can generate coaching feedback. Recordings are associated with your account and may be processed to analyze speaking patterns and produce recommendations.
Conversation Data
We store scenario details, messages, transcripts, AI responses, and coaching feedback from your practice sessions. This helps provide continuity and track progress over time.
Usage Information
We collect information about how you use the Service (for example, scenarios created, practice sessions completed, feedback scores, and feature usage) to operate the Service, improve it, and enforce usage limits.
Billing Information
If you subscribe, we store subscription and account metadata (for example, plan status and seat count). Payment details are processed by our payment provider and are not stored by Voco.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Generate coaching feedback and AI roleplay responses
- Process recordings and transcripts to support voice features
- Manage accounts, subscriptions, and customer support
- Enforce our terms, protect against misuse, and maintain security
4. Third-Party Services
We use service providers to run key parts of the Service:
- Google Cloud (Vertex AI / Gemini) - AI coaching analysis and conversation generation
- Google Cloud Storage - Storage for voice recordings and generated content
- Cartesia - Text-to-speech for AI buyer voices
- Postmark - Transactional emails (for example, login codes)
- Paddle - Subscription payment processing
These providers process information on our behalf and under our instructions. We share only what is necessary to provide the Service.
5. Data Storage and Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including access controls and secure infrastructure. Voice recordings may be stored in Google Cloud Storage.
While we implement safeguards to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account information and practice data for as long as your account is active. When you delete content (such as scenarios or chat sessions), it is marked as deleted but may be retained for a period of time for backup, security, and legal compliance purposes.
Temporary data such as login codes expire automatically after a short period.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access - Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction - Request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion - Request deletion of your data
- Portability - Request your data in a portable format
- Objection - Object to certain processing of your data

8. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. These cookies are necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, and we currently do not use third-party analytics tracking cookies.
